Precautionary measures
The chassis and steering of the car are crucial for traffic safety. Only those who are completely confident in their abilities should decide to repair these components themselves. Other drivers should contact a workshop.
Left: Replacing the front shock absorber. The numbers indicate:
1. Piston rod nut 22 mm;
2. Shock absorber piston rod with 7 mm hexagon socket;
3. Shock absorber bearing.
The arrows point to the markings provided, which indicate the installation position of the upper bearing of the shock absorber strut. Only if the markings match after assembling the shock absorber strut, then no adjustment of the wheel alignment angles will be required.
Right: The figure shows all the components of the front shock absorber.
