Execution order
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Pump out the remaining fuel from the tank.
3. Disconnect from the sensor (see Fig. Fuel system of the 1.8L engine) hoses and wires (see paragraphs 2–4 of subsection 6.1.9.).
4. Disconnect the tube and hose from the filler neck.
5. Open the fuel filler cap and unscrew the filler cap fastening screw. Loosen the clamp and remove the filler pipe.
6. Raise and support the rear of the vehicle.
7. Disconnect the fuel tank mounting clamps and lower the tank.
8. Install the fuel tank in reverse order.
