Execution order
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the fastening clamps from the hoses (17) and (19) (see Fig. Fuel system of the 1.8L engine), cutting them with side cutters.
3. Remove the filter by removing the hoses from it.
4. Place new screw clamps on the hoses.
5. Place the hoses on the new filter so that the arrow on the filter housing points in the direction of fuel flow. Tighten the clamps.
