Execution order
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the trunk floor mat.
3. Remove the cover located on the trunk floor that covers the sensor.
4. Disconnect the hoses and wiring from the fuel level sensor.
5. Using a special device, or if you don't have one, use pliers to unscrew the retainer (see Fig. Fuel system of the 1.8L engine). Remove the sensor from the fuel tank.
6. Install the fuel level sensor in reverse order.
