Pressing out and pressing in the outer ring of the bearing with cylindrical rollers of the primary shaft
These operations are performed using a press and a mandrel.
The pressing depth should be within 8.5-9.0 mm relative to the plane of the crankcase joint.
Pressing out and pressing in the outer ring of the secondary shaft rear tapered roller bearing
These operations are performed using a press and a mandrel
Pressing depth to stop.
Removed inner rings of tapered roller bearing
Removal and installation the rear ball bearing of the primary shaft
Remove the rear cover of the gearbox and the retaining ring, then press out the bearing using a mandrel. Press in the reverse order.
Pressing out and pressing in the front ball bearing of the primary shaft
The ball bearing is pressed out using an inertial puller with external grips, and pressed in using a mandrel. When installing, the marking on the bearing should face the gearbox.
Press-fit depth flush into clutch housing.
Pressing out and pressing in the outer ring of the front tapered roller bearing of the secondary shaft
Pressing out is done using an inertial puller with a support ring attachment. Pressing in is done after general or local heating of the clutch housing and using a mandrel. Hold the outer ring under pressure for 1-2 minutes after pressing in to warm it up due to heat exchange.
