Passive safety system diagram "PROKON-TEN": The "PROKON-TEN" system ensures that the steering column is pulled in to lock the seat belts in the event of a frontal collision. It consists of three steel cables, transmission and retaining links, a collapsible steering column, which is a corrugated pipe, and two tensioners on the reels of the front seat belts. The upper end of one cable is secured to the steering shaft, the lower end is passed around the gearbox and secured to the body. The other two cables are arranged according to the same principle and are secured to two reels of the front seat belts. Depending on the force of the collision, a certain shift in the relative position of the power unit, gearbox and body occurs. Such a shift activates the "PROKON-TEN" system
