On these vehicles, the suspension arm is called a trapezoid arm. It is connected to the wheel bearing housing and to two separate cross beams. Always use new self-locking nuts.
Raise and support the vehicle securely under the frame and differential.
Remove wheel. Along the trapezoidal arm, remove the nuts, speed sensor wire bracket bolts, and guide rail.
Remove the front and rear bolts securing the wheel bearing housing to the wheel arm.
Remove the bolt securing the trapezoid arm to the lower cross member.
Disconnect the spring on the brake pressure regulator.
Remove the nut securing the trapezoid arm to the front cross member and the trapezoid arm itself from the vehicle.
Installation is made in an order, the return to removal. Tighten:
- nut for fastening the trapezoidal lever to the cross beam with a torque of 10 Nm
- bolt of fastening of the trapezoidal lever of the trapezoidal lever to the rear transverse beam with a torque of 85 Nm
- bolts for fastening the trapezoidal lever to the wheel bearing housing - torque 169 Nm
- nut / bolts of the guide of the speed sensor with a torque of 10 Nm.
Check and adjust rear wheel alignment.
Attention. Before installing the trapezoid lever, make sure that the threads on the fasteners are lubricated with sealant.
