Rear suspension components. Front wheel drive models
Warning: If there is damage to the hydraulic rubber-metal support -13-, it is necessary to replace the beam -14- as a set (service station work).
- 1 - brake disc
- 2 - dodecahedral flanged nut, 175 Nm. Self-locking, be sure to replace.
- 3 - cap. Be sure to replace. Starting from the 4/97 issue, the caps are coated with green sealed lacquer. Older caps should be inserted on the sealant.
- 4 - Phillips screw, 4 Nm
- 5 - wheel bolt, 120 Nm
- 6 - hub with wheel bearing
- 7 - bolt, 60 Nm
- 8 - trunnion
- 9 - bolt. Be sure to replace.
- 10 - bolt, 30 Nm + 90° (1/4 turn). Be sure to replace.
- 11 - support. To remove the rear suspension, if possible, do not turn away. If the support is disconnected, the camber must be adjusted.
- 12 - nut, 80 Nm. Be sure to replace. Load the trunk of the car with a load of 100 kg and tighten the nut with the car standing on wheels.
- 13 - rubber-metal support or hydraulic rubber-metal support
- 14 - suspension beam
- 15 - upper rubber support ring
- 16 - helical spring
- 17 - zinc gasket
- 18 - bolt, 60 Nm. Be sure to replace.
- 19 - shock absorber
- 20 - bolt, 30 Nm + 90° (1/4 turn). Be sure to replace.
- 21 - hexagon socket screw, 8 Nm
- 22 - ABS sensor
- 23 - nut. Be sure to replace.
- 24 - shield
- 25 - hexagon socket screw, 65 Nm. Be sure to replace.
- 26 - caliper
The rear suspension consists of two trailing arms with a connecting beam. An anti-roll bar is located in front of the V-beam, which reduces the vehicle's tilt when cornering and thus stabilizes its position. The rear suspension is connected to the body through rubber-metal mounts. The depreciation of the car is carried out by two helical springs and two shock absorbers. Springs and shock absorbers are located separately, which increases the width of the cargo volume.
Dual ball bearing rear wheels require no maintenance or adjustment.
Vehicles with all-wheel drive have an independent rear suspension with double wishbones and longitudinal balancers.
To transmit torque, a cardan shaft, main gear and two drive shafts are installed.
Measurement of the geometry of the rear suspension is only possible using optical methods.
Warning: Welding and straightening work on the bearing and guiding elements of the rear suspension is not allowed. Always replace self-locking nuts and bolts/nuts with traces of corrosion.
