The area around the brake booster and brake master cylinder contains the following parts:
1 - brake fluid level control sensor;
2 - connection of the vacuum pipeline from the intake manifold;
3 - reservoir with brake fluid;
4 — the main brake cylinder;
5 - brake booster.
Removing the brake master cylinder
Drain the brake fluid from the expansion tank.
To reduce pressure in the brake booster, remove the vacuum hose.
Remove reservoir from brake master cylinder.
Disconnect all brake lines from the master cylinder.
Release both fixing bolts behind the brake master cylinder.
Carefully remove the brake master cylinder from the brake booster, being careful not to twist the cylinder.
When reassembling, install a new O-ring between the brake booster and brake master cylinder.
Tighten the fixing nut to 25 Nm.
Before installing the reservoir, moisten the sealing plug of the expansion tank connecting fitting from the inside with brake fluid.
