Details of the height adjustment system: 1 - Power steering pump; 2 - brake booster pressure accumulator; 3 - expansion tank; 4 - control valve; 5 - right pressure accumulator; b - left pressure accumulator; 7 - rear brake pressure regulator; 8 - pressure distributor; 9 - adjusting bolt of the control valve drive rods
Disconnect the high pressure line of the body position control system from the pump.
Arrangement of wooden supports when adjusting the drive of the body position regulator control valve
Attach the VW 1354 reducer hose to the pipeline.
Unscrew the expansion tank cap.
Lower the end of the reducer hose into the expansion tank.
Start the engine and let it idle until no more bubbles come out of the hose.
Turn off the ignition.
Remove the reducer hose from the expansion tank and lower it into the measuring cup
Start the engine at idle speed, stop it after 1 minute and measure the amount of hydraulic fluid that has leaked out in a measuring cup, which should be at least 0.3 l.
If the amount of liquid is less, replace the pump.
