Route the ground connection as shown in Fig. First insert the contact tongue "2" of the ground connection into the mounting hole on the fuel tank "5" and then press in the spacer sleeve. Pay attention to the reliability of the fastening of the plug "4" of the ground connection to the metal ring "3" of the fuel tank filler neck.
Caution! After installation, check the electrical connection of the metal ring on the filler neck with an open point on the body using an ohmmeter: specified value: approx. 0 Ohm.
