This gear is the main one when the car is moving.

2 - Enhanced transmission

Gear "2" is used when driving uphill, where it is necessary to shift to a lower gear and use engine braking.

The maximum speed of gear "2" must not exceed 115 km/h (for diesel engines 90 km/h).

Gear "2" from gear "D" is engaged automatically when the vehicle speed decreases to 115 km/h (90 km/h for diesel).

1 - Position for starting off and climbing steep hills

To move the lever to this position, you must press the locking button on the lever handle.

The maximum speed of movement must not exceed 65 km/h (50 km/h for diesel).

When gear "1" is engaged, the car starts moving and continues moving without shifting to gears "2" and "D".

This position is used to overcome steep climbs and achieve maximum engine braking.

Kick-down system

The kick-down system ensures maximum acceleration. To activate it, you must press the gas pedal all the way down with additional force at the end of the stroke. Shifting to a higher gear will occur with a delay. In this position of the gas pedal, the engine power is used to the maximum in each gear.
