For all car models:
Position 1:
In this position, the steering wheel lock is disabled and the parking lights can be turned on.
Position 2:
In this position, the ignition is turned on, the battery discharge and oil pressure warning lights come on. On some models of cars, the coolant overheating warning lights, brake fluid level and power steering system warning lights may come on. The key cannot be removed from this position.
Position 3:
In this position, the starter is engaged. Voltage is also supplied to the circuits of external lighting, signaling and instruments, to the power supply circuit of the windshield wiper. The key in this position is not fixed in the lock and is not removed from it. When released, it returns to position "2".
