Features common to all vehicles
Position 1
Designed to lock the steering wheel. To do this, pull the key out of the ignition and turn the steering wheel until the lock clicks.
Note: If you forget to turn off the light or radio after removing the key from the ignition, a warning buzzer will remind you of this as soon as you open the door.
Caution: Remove the key from the ignition only after the vehicle has come to a complete stop, otherwise the steering wheel may lock while driving.
Position 2
If the key does not turn to this position or turns with difficulty, turn the steering wheel in different directions - the steering will unlock and the key will turn easily.
Position 3
In this position, the low beam headlights switch to the parking light, all major consumers of electricity are switched off: windshield wipers, fan, rear window heating. Each time the engine is restarted, the ignition key must be returned to position E. To prevent damage to the starter, a special safety device blocks its simultaneous operation with the engine running.
