Front suspension - independent type. It has a coil spring, a strut and a lower arm. Racks are connected with telescopic shock absorbers. Both front suspension units are mounted on the lower frame. The anti-roll bar is attached to the arms and also provides localization for each rack assembly.
The rear suspension includes a transverse torsion axle with trailing arms attached to the body through rubber bushings. The axle is attached to the lower ends of the rear shock, which act as struts and contain the coil springs. The movement of the axle from side to side is controlled by a diagonal link. Some models use a self-levelling system that uses gas and hydraulic pressure acting on the C-pillars to keep the vehicle at the same height regardless of load.
The steering is rack and pinion, mounted on the bulkhead of the engine compartment. The tie rods are centrally attached to a common suspension, which is separately bolted to the steering rack. Power steering is used on some models, steering damper is used on versions with direct steering.
