Lubrication of the ignition distributor (Audi 100 C4)

Although Audi vehicles are equipped with a maintenance-free transistor ignition system, the ignition distributor must be lubricated (the exception is cars with a fully electronic ignition system).

• Remove the distributor cap, rotor and dust cover.
• Place two drops of machine or motor oil into the distributor shaft lubrication hole.
