Removing fuel lines and pipes
Cleanliness is the first commandment when working with the fuel system. Before working, you must clean at least the area where you will be working so that dirt does not get into the open fuel line.
Removing the clamps: squeeze the metal loops with tongs. Because of this, the clamp will expand, after which the pipeline hose can be removed with rotational movements.
If this is not possible, install a small open end wrench on the end of the hose and press the clamp with it.
When installing, you must use bolted connections instead of tie-down collars.
When working with models with a 4-cylinder engine with an output of 85 kW and produced before 6/92 and with a 5-cylinder engine, it must be borne in mind that the fuel system is under pressure even long after the engine has been switched off.
Keep a rag ready when removing the fuel line so that fuel does not accidentally splash into your eyes.
