Cars with catalytic converters
Motors 85-100 kW
Unleaded gasoline type Super-95 (Eurosuper, octane number 95)
Note: Unleaded petrol must comply with DIN 51607 standards, and leaded petrol must comply with DIN 51600 standards. It is also permissible to use unleaded petrol with an octane rating of up to 91. However, engine power will be slightly reduced.
Cars without catalyst
Motors 85-100 kW
Leaded petrol with octane purity of at least 98. Under certain conditions, unleaded petrol of the Super brand may also be suitable, but due to the fact that it has a lower octane number, additional engine adjustment is necessary. This is carried out at service stations.
For all types of engines with catalytic converters:
Only unleaded gasoline is used. Leaded gasoline quickly disables the exhaust gas cleaning system. Due to the fact that lead settles in the catalyst.
Even a single fill with this gasoline significantly reduces the efficiency of the catalysts.
Despite subsequent refueling with unleaded fuel, it will no longer be possible to restore the normal operation of the catalyst.
Moreover, this may also damage the automatic fuel mixture proportion control device.
