The economy of driving, the intensity of noise effects when revving the engine and changing gears directly depend on the individual driving style of the car.

In order to save fuel, be environmentally friendly, increase engine life, and reduce wear on tires and brake pads, it is advisable to follow these rules:

Never warm up the engine while the vehicle is stationary.

After starting, start driving immediately, but do not allow high revs until it warms up.

Avoid sudden acceleration at full throttle.

Avoid driving at maximum engine speed.

The most favorable mode for economical fuel consumption and careful attitude to the environment is considered to be driving in high forward gears and medium engine speeds. The highest possible gears are the most economical, for example, fuel consumption when driving in second gear is approximately 2 times, and in third gear - 1.5 times more than in fourth gear.

If possible, try to drive in high gears as often as possible.

Shift to a lower gear only when you feel that the engine's traction power is no longer sufficient for further movement in a higher gear.

Normal movement and even acceleration of the car in the highest gear is allowed at a speed of 40-60 km/h. Do not get carried away with frequent driving at maximum speeds.

You need to drive smoothly, with gradual acceleration. Sharp acceleration and braking of the car require high fuel consumption, intensively pollute the environment. During forced stops, do not forget to turn off the engine.

Unfavorable factors for economical fuel consumption are:

  • driving in heavy traffic conditions in urban areas with a dense network of traffic lights.
  • frequent short-distance travel, for example from house to house, involving repeated starting and warming up of the engine,
  • driving in a column in low gears.

In this regard, try to choose routes that can avoid such a traffic situation.

Naturally, in addition to the above, there may be other factors, including those independent of the driver, which also cause increased fuel consumption. For example, winter operating conditions of the car, driving on bad roads, off-road, with a trailer, etc.

In addition to the above, in order to save fuel, it is necessary to make maximum use of the technical characteristics of the car.

Try to fill up with unleaded fuel. It is suitable for almost all types of carburetor engines of the model.

Carry out technical inspection and maintenance of the vehicle in a timely manner. Maintenance intervals and the scope of scheduled work are specified in the service card.
