Windshield washer reservoirs (picture) and headlight washer reservoirs (drawing in the center) are located in the engine compartment. The capacity of the first is about 4 liters, the second - approximately 7 liters.
Water filling procedure
To do this, remove the tank cap, fill it to the brim with water and close the cap again. If the engine is running, check the operation of the washer.
We recommend adding chemical glass cleaning powder to the water. It improves the intensity, increases the quality of cleaning, and in winter - the freezing point.
Adjusting the washer jets
When the vehicle is stationary, the jets of liquid should reach the points of the windshield sectors indicated in the diagram:
- a = 200 mm
- in = 190 mm
- c = 120 mm
- d = 180 mm
- e = 180 mm
The direction of the jets is adjusted using a thin needle.
Adjusting the headlight washer jets requires special equipment. Therefore, their adjustment should usually be carried out at a service station.
