The windshield wipers and washers only operate when the ignition is on.

Warning: In cold weather, before using the windscreen wipers for the first time, check that the blades are not frozen.

Turning off the windshield wipers. Steering column switch in fixed position 0.

Manual control of brush movement. Move the steering column switch down to the locked position.

Intermittent movement of brushes. Steering column switch in fixed position 1, while the brush response interval is 6 s.

The brush operation intervals can be smoothly set from 1.5 to 22 s.

To do this, set the switch to the fixed position 1 and after the brushes operate once, turn it off. Then, after the desired time interval, turn the switch on again. After turning off the ignition, the brushes operate every 6 seconds again.

Slow movement of brushes. Steering column switch in fixed position 2.

Fast movement of brushes. Steering column switch in fixed position 3.

Automatic cleaning and washing. Move the steering column switch towards the steering wheel – the wipers and washer work.

Release the steering column switch – the windshield washer stops working, the windshield wipers continue to work for approximately 4 s.

Headlight washer. When the high beam or low beam is on, each time the windshield washer is turned on, the surfaces of the headlight lenses are washed.
