Installation


Before installing new gearshift guides, it is necessary to clean the sliding surfaces and lubricate them. Clean with a cleaning agent "D 009 401 04". After this, lubricate the sliding surfaces of the guides with lithium grease "G 052 147 A2". Do not lubricate the drive cables. Insert the link guide into the guide rail "1". Make sure that the slider "2" is directed to the rear when installing the mechanism into the guides "1". Insert cable "2" in the direction of "arrow B" into the guide rail "3". Hang cable "2" against the -direction of arrow A- into the slide "1". Do not move the guide holding on to the link. Slide the link guide forward on both sides of the opening so that they are completely lowered into place. In doing so, push only in the places "arrow" of the slide "3", but not by the link "2". Install the cover of the mounting frame. Installing the electric motor of the roof mechanism. Install the mounting frame in the car. Installing the rear window cover. Before installing new gearshift guides, it is necessary to clean the sliding surfaces and lubricate them. Clean the sliding surfaces with "3" cleaner "D 009 401 04". Only the sliding zones "3" of the guide rail of the mounting frame "2" should be lubricated with lithium grease "G 052147 A2".



The inner "4" and outer "3" seals have a smooth sliding surface and are not to be lubricated. The engine panel and drive cables are also not to be lubricated.
