If you pull the guide while holding the slide, it will rise. Using a suitable screwdriver, push the rocker guide -2- out of the slide -1- along the slide -arrow- towards the rear.
Remove cable -2- from slide -1 - in -direction of arrow A-. Remove rocker guide -1 - in direction -arrow B- from guides -3-. Pull cable -2- in direction -arrow B- from guides -3-.
Installation
Before installing new rocker guides, the sliding surfaces must be cleaned and lubricated. Clean with cleaning agent -D 009 401 04-. After this, lubricate the sliding surfaces of the guides with lithium grease -G 052 147 A2-. It is prohibited to lubricate drive cables. Insert rocker guide into guide rail -1-. Make sure that the slider -2- is directed backwards when installing the mechanism in the guides -1-. Insert cable -2- in direction -arrow B- into guide bar -3-. Hook the cable -2- in the opposite direction of arrow A- into the slide -1-. You cannot move the guide while holding the slide. Push forward the rocker guide on both sides of the opening until they are completely lowered into place. In this case, push only in places -arrow- of the slide -3-, but not behind the slide -2-. Install the mounting frame cover. Installation of the electric motor for the roof mechanism. Install the mounting frame into the vehicle. Installing the rear glass cover. Installing the front glass cover. After completing the work, standardize the sunroof and curtain drives.
Guide bar lubrication
Before installing new rocker guides, the sliding surfaces must be cleaned and lubricated. Clean sliding surfaces -3- with cleaner -D 009 401 04-. Only lubricate the sliding areas -3- of the mounting frame guide rail -2- with lithium grease -G 052147 A2-.
The inner -4- and outer -3- seals have a smooth sliding coating and are prohibited from being lubricated. The motor panel and drive cables should also not be lubricated.
