Removal the rear engine panel and sunroof curtain drive cable (Audi Q5-8R)

Remove the ceiling trim. Remove the sunroof curtain electric motor. Remove the sunroof curtain. Unscrew the "arrow" bolts of the cable covers "1" and "3" (2 Nm).



Remove cable covers "1" and "3" from cover "4". Remove curtain cables from guide tubes "3" and motor panel "5". Press motor panel "5" out of cover "1" with a suitable screwdriver.



Remove the guide tube "1" from the lip "4" of the cover "2".



Remove cable "3" from curtain guide "5".

Installation

Installation in reverse order. Do not lubricate the motor panel and sunroof curtain drive cables. Install the sunroof curtain. Install the electric motor of the sunroof curtain. Install the ceiling panel. After completing the work, normalize the sunroof and curtain drives.
