
- 1 bolt, tightening torque: 120 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°)
The bolt must be replaced. The Audi-3039 holding tool is required for loosening and tightening.
- 2 bolt, tightening torque: 40 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°). The bolt must be replaced.
- 3 bolt, 15 Nm
- 4 lower timing belt cover
- 5 middle toothed belt cover
- 6 bolt, 10 Nm
- 7 bolt, 45 Nm
- 8 engine support
- 9 Upper timing belt cover
- 10 toothed belt
Check for wear. Mark the direction of rotation before removing. Do not bend the belt.
- 11 bolt, tightening torque: 20 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°)
3 pcs., for a two-piece fuel injection pump pulley. Bolts must be replaced.
- 12 bolt, 20 Nm
- 13 bolt for deflection roller
Tightening torque for console "29" with spare part no.: 038 903 143 E/F: 17 Nm. No.: 038 903 143 A/B: 20 Nm
- 14 bolt, 45 Nm
Audi holding tool 3036 is required for loosening and tightening.
- 15 camshaft pulley
It is removed from the cone using a hammer and a punch through the hole in the rear cover of the toothed belt.
- 16 semi-automatic tension roller
- 17 Deflection roller
- 18 injection pump pulley, two-piece design
- 19 bolt, 10 Nm
- 20 bolt, 30 Nm
- 21 Rear timing belt cover
Inserted from the front at the bottom edge behind the sealing flange
- 22 Coolant pump
- 23 Deflection roller
Must be disconnected before removing the coolant pump.
- 24 tooth crankshaft pulley
There should be no oil on the pulley/crankshaft mating surface. Operating position: The pulley and crankshaft planes should match.
- 25 bolt, 30 Nm
- 26 bushing
- 27 nut
- 28 Fuel injection pump. Do not unscrew the central bolt on the pump hub.
- 29 console
- 30 bolt, 45 Nm
