- Don't press full "gas"; if you have an automatic transmission, avoid the full load position and abruptly pressing the accelerator pedal to the stop. Maximum speed: 4200 rpm!
- Do not exceed 4200 rpm until the engine reaches operating temperature; when the engine is cold, shift earlier.
- When driving the first 1000-1500 km, the engine should be gradually accelerated to maximum speed or maximum permissible rotation frequency (short term 6300 rpm).
Hint: Everything that has been said here about a new engine is even more important to consider when running in an engine after a major overhaul, which is known to be more sensitive to improper driving styles.
