With the Digifant injection system no adjustment work is required because the system is self-learning. This means that the control unit, if necessary, corrects the idle speed. Only in doubtful cases is the so-called basic adjustment made. This does not happen by tightening the set bolts, but with the help of the already mentioned device for reading the VAG 1551 fault memory after the memory of the drive has first been interrogated. Normative indicators of the speed of rotation, about the content of CO in idling mode (test conditions: engine operating temperature, disconnection of all electrical consumers and correct ignition timing) This:
Idling speed: 820±50 rpm.
Exhaust CO test: 0.6-1.0% (measurement in the CO measuring tube).
If you received other indicators, then you need to check the vacuum hoses and the solenoid valve of the fuel evaporation system, interrogate the memory of the fault memory.

A routine check of the catalytic converter and lambda probe is carried out in the workshop, as described for the Mono-Motronic injection system. When troubleshooting, the lambda probe is checked according to the method described above for the Digifant injection system.
