Execution order

1. Remove the gearbox.

2. Using a screwdriver, remove the spring clips from both sides of the clutch release bearing race.

3. Remove the clutch release bearing from the guide sleeve.

4. Remove the clutch release bearing from the housing, having first removed the mounting brackets.

5. Install a new clutch release bearing into the housing and secure the two housing parts together with mounting brackets.

6. Install the clutch release bearing assembly with the cage onto the guide sleeve.

7. Secure the bearing to the clutch release fork by installing two spring clips.

8. Check the functionality of the return spring. The clutch release fork under its influence should move the bearing towards the gearbox housing.

9. Check the distance from the clutch release fork lever to the clutch cable thrust bushing. It should be 185 mm. The clutch pedal should be released. If this distance differs from the specified one, the lever should be repositioned on the clutch release shaft splines.
