Execution order
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Disconnect the connector with wires from the regulator (see Fig. Main elements of the fuel injection system).
3. Reconnect the wire to the negative terminal of the battery.
4. Connect a voltmeter to the terminals of the block and turn on the starter. If the voltmeter shows a voltage of less than 8.0 V, you should look for a fault in the wiring.
5. Turn off the ignition, connect the ohmmeter to the regulator contacts. The resistance should be 20 ohms. If the ohmmeter shows a resistance different from 20 ohms, then the heating coil is faulty and the regulator must be replaced.
