Order of execution
1. Disconnect wire from «negative» battery terminals.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness from the regulator (see fig. The main elements of the fuel injection system).
3. Reconnect the wire to «negative» battery terminal.
4. Connect a voltmeter to the terminals of the block and turn on the starter. If the voltmeter shows a voltage of less than 8.0 V, you should look for a fault in the wiring.
5. Switch off the ignition, connect an ohmmeter to the regulator contacts. The resistance should be 20 ohms. If the ohmmeter shows a resistance other than 20 ohms, then the heating coil is faulty and the regulator must be replaced.
