Keihin carburetor choke lever

- 1 - air damper drive lever;

Adjusting the starting clearance of the air damper of the Keihin carburetor

- 1 - air damper drive lever;
- 2 - thrust lever;
- 3 - pneumatic actuator of the air damper;
- 4 - rubber band fixing the lever
Execution order
1. Remove the air filter (see subsection 6.1.2).
2. Remove the automatic starting device cover (see fig. Keihin Carburetor Parts).
3. Turn the air damper drive lever counterclockwise until it stops and lock it in this position.
4. Move the rod in the direction of the arrow (see fig. Keihin carburetor choke lever) pneumatic drive until it stops.
5. Measure the starting clearance of the air damper with feeler gauges. It should be (5.6±0.15) mm.
6. If necessary, adjust the gap by bending/compressing and straightening/unclenching the lever fork (see fig. Adjusting the starting clearance of the air damper of the Keihin carburetor).
