Carburetor 2E2 mixture quality (composition) adjustment screw

- 1 - mixture quality (composition) adjustment screw;
- 2 - adjusting screw for the protrusion of the pneumatic drive rod of the first chamber throttle valve
Adjustment is performed on a warm engine (with the air damper fully open) with the ignition timing set correctly and with the electrical consumers switched off.
Execution order
1. Connect the control tachometer and gas analyzer in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
2. By rotating the screw (see Fig. Adjusting the engine start speed on a 2E2 carburetor) adjust the engine speed within (750±50) min⁻¹.
3. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose.
4. Use the mixture quality adjustment screw to set the carbon monoxide (CO) content in the exhaust gases to no more than (1.0±0.5)% (when the screw is tightened, the combustible mixture is enriched; when loosened, it is depleted). Check and, if necessary, restore the idle speed, as well as the CO content in the exhaust gases.
