Order of execution
1. Check the entire surface of the dust collars for cracks.
2. Tie rod heads with torn cuffs are considered defective - replace them.
3. You can check the presence of a gap in the hinges on a raised car by rocking the wheel about its vertical axis or by rocking the tie rod itself.
4. Another possibility: have your assistant turn the steering wheel left and right while the car is on the ground, and you feel with your hand if there is a gap in the hinge.
5. Immediately replace the tie rods with clearance!
6. In the same way, it is checked whether there is a gap in the inner joints of the tie rod, which are screwed directly to the steering rack.
7. If the inner joint has a defect, then, unfortunately, it is necessary to change the entire tie rod.
