Crankshaft and cylinder block
- 1 - upper thrust half ring;
- 2 - an epiploon of an intermediate shaft;
- 3 - stuffing box flange;
- 4 - intermediate shaft;
- 5 - crankshaft seal;
- 6 - gland holder;
- 7 - gasket;
- 8 - lower main bearing shell;
- 9 - a bolt of fastening of a cover of the radical bearing;
- 10 - main bearing cover;
- 11 - lower thrust half ring;
- 12 - crankshaft;
- 13 - the top loose leaf of the radical bearing
Order of execution
1. Remove ignition distributor (see pp. 1–7 of subsection 12.2.1.1) and fuel pump (see pp. 1–3 subsections 6.1.5).
2. Remove the camshaft drive belt (cm. pp. 1–7 of subsection 3.1.2.9).
3. Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the intermediate shaft gear. Pull out the pin.
4. Unscrew the two bolts of the flange 3 of the intermediate shaft oil seal (see fig. Crankshaft and cylinder block) and remove the sealing ring.
5. Remove seal 2 from flange 3.
6. Carefully remove intermediate shaft 4 from cylinder block.
7. Install intermediate shaft in reverse order. At the same time, press the new oil seal into the flange and lubricate the sealing lip with engine oil. The axial play of the shaft must not exceed 0.25 mm.
