Execution order
1. Remove the ignition distributor (see paragraphs 1–7 of subsection 12.2.1.1) and fuel pump (see paragraphs 1–3 of subsection 6.1.5).
2. Remove the camshaft drive belt (see paragraphs 1–7 of subsection 3.1.2.9).
3. Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the intermediate shaft gear. Remove the key.
4. Unscrew the two bolts of flange 3 of the intermediate shaft oil seal (see fig. Crankshaft and cylinder block) and remove the flange with the sealing ring.
5. Remove seal 2 from flange 3.
6. Carefully remove intermediate shaft 4 from the cylinder block.
7. Install the intermediate shaft in the reverse order. In this case, press the new oil seal into the flange and lubricate the working edge of the oil seal with engine oil. The axial play of the shaft should not exceed 0.25 mm.
