Numbers of contacts of the connecting block of the control unit
Order of execution
1. Disconnect the high voltage center wire from the ignition distributor and connect it to «weight».
2. Disconnect the connector block.
3. Connect a voltmeter to the terminals «1» And «3», turn on the ignition. The voltmeter should show a voltage of about 9 V. Otherwise, check the wiring.
4. Slide back the protective cover from the block, connect the voltmeter to the contacts «1» And «2» and install the block in the socket on the ignition distributor.
5. Remove the distributor cap, slider and dust screen.
6. Turn the engine crankshaft so that the armature teeth (1) distributor did not block the Hall sensor (2). Turn on the ignition. The voltage should be 4 V.
7. Turn the crankshaft so that one of the armature teeth is aligned with the Hall sensor. The voltage should drop to 0-0.5 V. Switch off the ignition. If the voltage is out of specification, replace the Hall sensor.
8. Connect an ohmmeter to the contacts «1» And «4», then with contacts «2» And «27» and finally with «3» And «25». In all cases, the resistance must be zero. If the resistance is different from zero, then there is a break in the wiring.
