TSZ-H ignition system
Check the TSZ-H switch, plug and wires to the distributor.
Disconnect the high-voltage center wire from the distributor terminal and short to ground with an auxiliary wire of the same cross section.
Connect a voltmeter between pins 6 and 3 on the connected connector of the TSZ-H relay switch.
Turn on the ignition.
Turn the engine clockwise by hand. The meter should read between 0 and 2 volts, depending on whether the rotor plate is in the Hall sensor magnet gap or not.
If this occurs, replace the Hall sensor.
VEZ system
Attention: Hall sensor test is required if there is no ignition spark.
Disconnect the plug from the high power output stage on the ignition coil and measure the voltage applied to terminals 2 and 3.
Turn on starter. If the LED flashes, the Hall sensor is OK.
Otherwise, disconnect the plug from the Hall sender and check the voltage supply to the sender from the switchgear.
To do this, connect a voltmeter to the external contacts of the plug.
Turn on the ignition, the device should show at least 9 V.
Connect the plug to the Hall sensor, connect the voltage meter to the central contact of the plug and to ground. First remove the rubber chem-bric from the plug.
Turn on starter. If the LED flashes, the Hall sensor is OK.
Otherwise, the distributor, Hall sensor or VEZ control device is faulty.
