Attention: To avoid destruction of electronic parts, the following work must be carried out only with the engine turned off. Turn on and off the plug on the switch, connect measuring instruments, switch measurement limits.
When connecting the test leads, take care not to damage the sensitive contacts of the multi-pin connector.
The design internal resistances of the instruments and the ambient temperature influence the measured values. Therefore, the given ratings are valid for measuring instruments VAG 1315 and 1526, as well as for temperatures from 0°to \u003d 40°С.
Check ignition coil.
Remove the bottom trim in the left footwell.
Disconnect the plug from the TSZ-H switch by pressing on the wire clip.
Connect a voltmeter between pins 4 and 2 on the plug.
Turn on the ignition. The meter should show battery voltage (12 V), otherwise, find a gap in the diagram and eliminate it.
Switch off the ignition.
Plug in the plug of the Hall sensor on the ignition distributor by pushing the wire clamp.
Remove boot from ignition coil. Connect a voltmeter to terminals 1 (-) and 15 (+) ignition coils.
Turn on the ignition. Rating: at least 2 V, after 1-2 sec. should drop to 0. Otherwise, replace the TSZ-H switch. Check the ignition coil so that the filling mastic does not protrude, otherwise replace the coil.
Short-circuit the ground for a short time, the middle wire on the plug of the Hall sensor using the auxiliary wire. The voltage should jump to 2 V. Otherwise, find a break in the center wire and replace it or the TSZ-H switch.
Switch off the ignition.
Connect a voltmeter to the external contacts of the plug.
Turn on the ignition. Rating: 5 V.
Check for a break in the wire and contacts between the Hall sensor, if a breakdown is detected, replace the switch.
