Instructions. All engines are filled with concentrate G 012 A8 D according to TL "VW 774 D". Only concentrate G 12 should be added (red color). Never use G 011 A8 C. Concentrates G 011 A8 C and G 012 A8 D must not be mixed. Mixing them can cause serious engine damage.

Check coolant level, top up if necessary

Check the coolant level in the expansion tank when the engine is cold.

Inspection service

The coolant level is between the min and max marks. If the coolant level is below the norm, add the missing amount, mixing in the appropriate proportions.

-35°Capproximately 50%approximately 50%
-40°Capproximately 60%approximately 40%

Instructions. If the liquid in the tank has turned brown, then the additive G 012 A8 D has been mixed with another coolant. In this case, the cooling system should be flushed and the coolant should be replaced. To flush the cooling system, fill it with clean water and let the engine run for about 2 minutes. As a result of flushing, the remaining coolant should be completely removed. G 012 A8 D and concentrates marked "in accordance with TL "VW 774" D" prevent the coolant from freezing and from forming corrosion and scale. In addition, they increase the boiling point of the coolant. For these reasons, it is imperative to fill the cooling system with antifreeze and corrosion protection throughout the year. Particularly in countries with a tropical climate, the coolant contributes to the reliable operation of the car due to its higher boiling point under increased engine load. The freezing point of the coolant must be at least -25°C (in countries with an arctic climate, "at least" 35°C). The concentration of the coolant must not be reduced by adding water, even in the warm season or, respectively, in countries with a warm climate. The proportion of coolant must be at least 40%. If climatic conditions require increased frost protection, the proportion of G 012 A8 D can be increased, but not more than to 60% (freezing point approx. down to -40°C), since otherwise the frost protection is again weakened and, in addition, the cooling effect is impaired.

Checking antifreeze, if necessary, adding coolant additive

If the freezing point of the coolant added is too low, it is necessary to drain some of it and add concentrate G 012 A8 D in accordance with TL "VW 774 D" instead.

After a test drive, check the concentration of the coolant additive.

After a test drive, check the concentration of the coolant additive.
