Spark plugs — replacement (Audi A2)

4-cyl. AUA engines

Disconnect spark plug connector "1" and unlock the wires. Unscrew the spark plugs with a 3122 B spark plug wrench. Screw in new spark plugs with a spark plug wrench. Check the reliability of the spark plug wires and spark plug tips.

4-cyl. BBY motors and FSI BAD motors

For FBI engines only

Disconnect line "1" from the oil filler neck.

Remove the ignition coils from their mounts using the T10094 puller. With the ignition off, remove the ignition coil connectors. Unscrew the spark plugs using a 3122 B spark plug wrench. Screw in new spark plugs using a spark plug wrench. Place the ignition coils with the connectors connected onto the spark plugs. On FSI engines, install line "1" onto the oil filler neck. Note the position of the rubber nozzle on the oil filler neck (leaks). Spark plugs in the cylinder head: 30 Nm.
