Withdrawal
Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Installing the engine at TDC of the piston of the first cylinder
Place the transmission in neutral and apply the handbrake.
With the help of a replaceable head SW 19, the crankshaft is turned by the central bolt of the pulley in the clockwise direction until the notch on the pulley coincides with the arrow on the timing belt cover -B-. Simultaneously label "ABOUT" on the flywheel in the clutch housing with reference edge -A-.
Attention: Depending on the model, a longer replacement head may be needed before cranking the engine, for example, HAZET880TZ-19c3/8" drive.
Check that the mark on the camshaft gear matches the upper edge of the cover, otherwise turn the crankshaft one turn. To do this, turn on the 4th or 5th gear and advance the car. or raise the front of the car, substitute the goats and, with the gear engaged, turn the front wheel.
Engine 90, 115 hp, designations PM (from 8.90), AAD
Check that the mark on the camshaft gear matches the arrow on the toothed belt cover, from above, otherwise turn the crankshaft one turn. To do this, turn on the 4th or 5th gear and move the car, or raise the front of the car, substitute the goats and, with the gear engaged, turn the front wheel.
Disconnect the ignition cable from the distributor or remove the distributor cover by prying off the mounting bracket on the side with a screwdriver.
Disconnect the vacuum ignition timing diaphragm hose at the distributor.
Unscrew the clamping bolt on the base of the distributor, remove the holder and remove the distributor.
Attention: Do not change the position of the engine crankshaft with the distributor removed.
Installation
Before installing, check that the crankshaft is in the TDC position of the piston of the 1st cylinder. This means that the marks on the crankshaft pulley must match at the same time (serif and arrow) or flywheel ("ABOUT" and reference edge) and camshaft gears (notch and edge).
In the distributor hole, put the pin of the oil pump shaft parallel to the crankshaft (longitudinal axis of the engine).
Engine 90, designations PM (from 8.90)
As shown in the figure, the spline of the oil pump trunnion must be installed in a straight line with the adjacent threaded hole.
Install the distributor slider like this. so that the mark on the tongue is above the risk on the edge of the distributor housing. The boot must be removed for this.
Insert the distributor in this position. Fasten the holders with the clamping bolt. Don't forget the seal.
Remove the distributor slider, put on the boot and insert the slider back. Lightly rotate back and forth to check that the slider snaps into place.
Clean the inside of the distributor cap.
Put the hose on the membrane mechanism.
Connect the battery ground cable.
Adjust ignition timing.
