Execution order
1. Loosen the nuts.
2. Remove the support plate.
3. Unscrew two screws and remove the cover with the gasket.
4. Remove the retaining ring with washers.
5. Loosen the tie bolts.
6. Remove the cover from the manifold side.
7. Unscrew the nut and disconnect the stator winding terminal from the traction relay.
8. Remove the brush holder from the housing, while pressing the springs and remove the two insulated brushes from the brush holder.
9. Remove the housing.
10. Unscrew the three bolts and remove the traction relay from the cover. The traction relay anchor should remain on the drive lever.
11. Remove the rubber seal from the lever. Remove the traction relay anchor from the lever.
12. Turn out the lever axle.
13. Remove the anchor from the cover on the drive side. Remove the drive lever.
14. Knock down the retaining ring through the mandrel towards the anchor. Remove the retaining ring installed under the retaining ring.
15. Remove the starter drive assembly from the armature shaft.
16. Remove the gearbox from the Bosch 1.1 kW starter. Assemble the starter in reverse order, installing a new retaining ring and lubricating the rubbing surfaces of the parts.
