Front body



1. The installation details of the components located on the front housing of the climate control system are shown in the illustration.

1 - Front housing of the climate control system;
2 - Fan control unit L26 4, different options available (for models with or without additional heating);
3, 9 - Bolt, 10 Nm;
4 - Air conditioning fan V2;
5 - Connecting rod;
6 - V113 activator of the recirculation flap with position sensor G143, there are different versions;
7 - Evaporator outlet temperature sensor G263;
8 - Mounting plate with two damper actuators: on the "Deluxe" system - V109 (air supply to the right anterior footwell) and V159 (right temperature flap), and on the "Basic" system - V108 (air supply to the left anterior footwell) and V158 (left temperature flap);
10/11 - Right/left radiator cap;
12 - Mounting plate with two damper actuators, only on the "Deluxe" system: V108 (air supply to the left front footwell) and V158 (left temperature flap);
13 - Mounting plate with two or three flap actuators: V107 (glass blowing), V299 (air supply through the left side deflector) and V110 (air supply through the left central deflector, only on the "Deluxe" system);
14 - Temperature sensor wire;
15/16-G385 / G386 sensor for left/right chest-level air temperature, only on models with the "Deluxe" system;
17 - Mounting plate with two damper actuators, only on the "Deluxe" system: V300 (air supply through the right side deflector) and V111 (air supply through the right central deflector);
18 - Connection, only on models without glove compartment cooling;
19/20/21 - Hose/Duct/Bolt, Cooled Glove Box Models Only;
22 - Connector holder;
23 - Intake air temperature sensor G89;
24 - Air conditioning system housing wiring harness;
25 - Electrical wiring tie;
26/27 - Sensor G261/G262 for temperature in the front left/right footwell, only on models with the "Deluxe" system.

3 - Cabin filter;
4 - Cabin filter cover;
5 - Right heater radiator cover;
6 - Lower cover of the heater radiator;
7 - Lid retaining pin 6;
8 - Left heater radiator cap;
9 - Heater radiator;
10 - Coolant hose clamp;
11, 12 - Heater radiator coolant supply/return pipe;
13 - O-ring, must be replaced;
14 - Support plate with foam seal;
15 - Sleeve for coolant pipes, in the bulkhead opening;
16 - Evaporator housing;
17 - Air distribution housing;
18 - Threads for fastening mounting plates with activators to the climate control system body.

2 - Bolt, 10 Nm;
3 - Expansion valve;
4, 5 - Sealing ring, subject to replacement;

7 - Foamed seal of refrigerant lines on the evaporator body;
8 - Evaporator with foam seal;
9 - Sealing tape;
10 - Lower part of the evaporator housing;
11 - Glued rubber element;
12 - Air duct;
13 - Upper part of the evaporator housing;
14 - Fixators;
15 - Bolt.

4 - Sensor G406 for temperature of air supplied from the rear right vent;
5 - Activator V240 rear right air flow control flap, with position sensor G390;
6 - Bushing for coolant hoses and refrigerant lines;
7, 23 - Connecting rod, mark before removing to avoid confusion;
8 - V314 actuator for rear temperature flap with position sensor G392;
9 - Bolt;
10, 11 - Bolt, 10 Nm;
12, 13, 15, 17 - Sealing ring, subject to replacement;
14/16 - Refrigerant line in the high/low pressure circuit;
18 - Fan control unit J391 24;
19 - Refrigerant drain port with valve;
21 - Rear climate control housing;
22 - Activator V313 rear left temperature flap, with position sensor G391;
24 - V80 climate control fan;
25 - Rear heater radiator;
26 - Body wiring harness 21;
27 - Activator V239 rear left air flow control flap, with position sensor G389;
28 - Sensor G405 for temperature of air supplied from the rear left deflector.

11 - Air flow direction and distribution housing, cannot be disassembled;
12 - Evaporator;
13 - Foam seal, bonded to evaporator;
14 - Foam seal bonded to evaporator refrigerant lines;
15 - Expansion valve holder;
16, 17 - Sealing ring, subject to replacement;
18 - Rear expansion valve;
19 - Bolt, 10 Nm;
20 - Evaporator housing;
21 - Lid.
