Hood Lock Cable — Removal, Installation and Adjustment (Audi 100 C3)

1. Remove the radiator grille.

2. Unscrew the clamp bolt and disconnect the cable from the pipe.

3. Release the cable from the locking levers, bushings and brackets in the engine compartment.

4. Unscrew the two screws securing the release lever assembly, move the cable through the bulkhead, and remove it inside the vehicle.

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order, adjust the cable, eliminating the play in the pipe by tightening the locking levers.
