Trunk lid lock — removal, installation and adjustment (Audi 100 C3)

1. Open the trunk lid, unscrew the two bolts, remove the lock cylinder from the trunk lid (photo).



2. Turn the lock to release it from the connecting rod and remove it from the vehicle.

3. Unscrew the two nuts and remove the lock mechanism from the racks (photo).



4. Disconnect the connecting rod, remove the lock from the car.

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order, adjust the closing of the trunk lid and the operation of the lock with the strike plate as necessary (photo).
