Rear door (station wagon models) — removal, installation and adjustment (Audi 100 C3)

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Open the rear door and support it.

2. Disconnect the electrical wiring, vacuum and washer hose, remove the electrical wiring and hoses from the rear door.

3. Remove the locking bracket, remove the holder posts from the studs with the ball end of the rear door (photo).



4. Mark the rear door hinge pattern.

5. Unscrew the four bolts securing the hinge plate and remove the rear door from the vehicle.

6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order, adjust the position of the rear door hinges to ensure equal clearance at the bottom on both sides.
