Rear door lock — removal and installation (Audi 80 B3)

1. Open the rear door and remove the trim from the inside.

2. Remove the cover from the lock.

3. Disconnect the lever linkage from the lock and lock cylinder.

4. On models with central locking, disconnect the switch element linkage rod.

5. Unscrew the mounting nuts and remove the lock from the rear panel.

6. To remove the private lock, unscrew the lock nut.

7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
