
1. Open the trunk lid and remove the plastic covers from the lock and trunk lid (photo).

2. Remove and disconnect the tie rod from the lock and lock cylinder.
3. Unscrew the mounting nuts and remove the lock from the trunk lid (photo).

4. To remove the lock cylinder, first insert the key, then use a small punch to knock out the fastening button.
5. On models with central locking, remove the gasket and remove the ball and spring.
6. Press out the lock cylinder, remove the O-ring and frame.
7. Loosen the mounting nuts, remove the washers and remove the lock cylinder casing.
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order, but observe the following points. On models with a central lock, apply a small amount of grease to the ball located below the spring. If necessary, adjust the linkage rod so that it enters without play. The length of the rod is adjusted by releasing the sliding ring.
