Lock cylinder
Removal
1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
Warning: Follow the instructions in Section Replacing the battery.
2. Open the trunk and remove the lock cover.
3. Disconnect the lock cylinder connector.
4. Disconnect the drive (5) from the cylinder.
5. Turn the cylinder 90° and remove it from the bar (9).
Installation
1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. In this case, tighten the bolt (7) to the torque 8Nm.
2. Connect the negative (-) battery cable.
Warning: Follow the instructions in Section Replacing the battery.
Single lock electric motor
Removal
1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
Warning: Follow the instructions in Section Replacing the battery.
2. Open the trunk and remove the lock cover.
3. Disconnect the drive rod (4) from the electric motor (arrow A).
4. Remove 2 screws (11) and remove the electric motor (8) from the trunk lid.
5. Disconnect the electric motor connector.
Installation
1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
2. Connect the negative (-) battery cable.
Warning: Follow the instructions in Section Replacing the battery.
Plank
Removal
1. Open the trunk and remove the lock cover.
2. Remove the lock cylinder, refer to Section Removal and installation the door lock cylinder.
3. Unscrew 4 nuts (10), press on the strips (arrows B) and pull the strip upwards.
Installation
1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Tighten the nuts to the torque 8 Nm.
