Removal



1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.

Warning: Follow the instructions in Section Replacing the battery.


2. Open the door and remove the triangular trim from the three clamp holders. In doing so, first detach the trim from the bottom.

3. Unscrew the screw (7) and remove the mirror with the adjustment unit (2) from the door (5).

4. Disconnect the connector (6). (3) – bottom cover.

Installation



1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. When doing so, ensure that the seal (8) is correctly positioned at the base of the mirror (9). Tighten the screw (7) to a torque of 12Nm.

2. Tighten the seal at the window frame above the triangular trim.

3. Connect the negative (-) battery cable.

Warning: Follow the instructions in Section Replacing the battery.


Replacing the mirror glass



Removal



1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.

Warning: Follow the instructions in Section Replacing the battery.




2. Tape the mirror body at the top and bottom to protect it from damage.

3. Carefully pry up the mirror glass with a plastic wedge, first at the bottom and then at the top.

4. Remove the glass from the housing and disconnect the mirror heating connector.

Installation



The operation of lifting and installing the car on stands is associated with danger! Therefore, before carrying out the operation, read the Section Jacking and towing.

1. Install the mirror glass (4) on the support plate (2) and connect the mirror heating connector.

2. Insert the glass into the guide pins and move the pin (3) into the friction spring (arrow).

3. Fix the glass, pressing only in the center of the glass. (1) – mirror housing.



4. Connect the negative (-) battery cable.

Warning: Follow the instructions in Section Replacing the battery.


Replacing the mirror housing



Removal



1. Remove the mirror glass, refer to the relevant Section.

2. Remove the screws (4), detach the bottom cover (3) from the holders and remove downwards.

3. Disconnect the outside mirror housing (1) from the holders (arrows) and remove upward.

Installation



1. Install the outside mirror housing on top of the adjustment unit (2).

2. Fix the housing at the top and bottom on the adjustment block (2). In this case, the holders of the adjustment block must enter the locking hooks of the housing.

3. Insert the cover (3) from below, fix and secure.

4. Install the mirror glass back into place.
