Warning: Moldings are glued to the body and will break when removed.
Removal
1. Heat the moldings (1) and (2) in parts with a hair dryer and separate them from the door.
Installation
1. Clean the area where the strip will be glued with gasoline, treat with silicone remover and dry.
Warning: Moldings should only be glued at room temperature. To do this, the car and the strips should be placed in a room with room temperature for at least two hours before gluing.
2. Remove the protective film (3) with double-sided adhesive tape (4). Insert the molding with the trunnions into the holes on the door and glue.
3. Heat the moulding with a hair dryer to 40°C and press or roll firmly.
Caution: After gluing the moldings, keep the car at room temperature for four hours.
Lower beam molding
Removal
1. Remove the screws (3) and slide the front molding (1) back out of the holders.
Warning: Remove the rear molding (2) in the same manner.
Installation
1. Place the molding on the bottom rail, slide it forward into the holders and secure with screws.
