Molding on the front of the wing
1. Remove the wheel arch.
2. Loosen the hex nut on the inside of the fender.
3. Give a molding back and remove it.

4. Heat the molding with a hair dryer to a temperature of approximately 40°C, and then separate it from the wing with a screwdriver. Wrap the screwdriver with a rag so as not to damage the varnish.
When installing this overlay, fix it on the retainer and glue it additionally.
Molding on the doors
5. Wring out the slips pasted to a door. These pads are damaged when removed, even if they are heated to a temperature of about 40°C. For this reason, purchase new pads.
6. Wipe the freshly painted surface to which the molding will be glued with gasoline and silicone remover.
7. Cut off the remnants of the old adhesive to a residual thickness of no more than 1 mm on the metal surface of the door. The remaining thin layer of the old adhesive will improve adhesion to the new adhesive.
8. Be careful not to damage the painted surface.
9. Clean the places where the old moldings were glued.
10. Clean the plastic parts at the adhesive site with solution D 00940001 and wipe dry.
11. Apply a coat of primer to freshly painted metal parts and plastic parts where the adhesive will be applied. Use primer D 00920002 for metal parts and D 009600 for plastic parts.
12. Apply adhesive sealant PUR AK.D 476 KD505 to the back side of the molding. It is enough to apply a layer of glue with a diameter of 4 mm in the middle of the molding.
13. Attach the molding to the door. Secure the molding with adhesive tape to ensure good adhesion. The drying time of the adhesive mass at 20°C is 4 hours.
Attention! To avoid the painstaking procedure of gluing the door lining, motorists use the following technique. For gluing, a transparent silicone sealing mass is taken, which is applied in large quantities to the back of the molding. Then the molding is pressed to the installation site, having previously cleaned it. Excess mass is immediately removed. In order for the molding not to fall off, it is for the entire period of solidification of the mass (about a day) secure with tape. As a result, the molding sticks a little worse than the original technology, but it keeps well and does not fall off during car washing in an automatic car wash.
Bottom trim
On the lower edges of the doors, as well as on the adjacent metal parts of some car models, a thin trim strip is installed.
The lining on the front and rear fenders is glued. The procedure for removing and installing such a lining is similar to removing and installing moldings.
14. Remove the caps at the ends of the trims and, without closing the door, pull the trim out of the mounting clips.
