Removal
Remove the door frame.
Use a drill to cut off the heads on the blind rivets.
Use a punch to knock out the remaining rivets.
Remove window regulator 2 (fig. 12.37). Shake out any remaining rivets from the door frame.
Installation
Install window regulator 2 (fig. 12.37) into the door frame 1.
Secure the window regulator with new countersunk rivets 5 (fig. 12.37) in the following order: a, b, c, d, e (fig. 12.37). For this, use a special tool, such as HAZET1963. Note the different diameters of the rivets. The diameter of rivets a, b, c, d is 4.8 mm, and the diameter of rivet "e" is 6.0 mm.
Install the door frame.
